Windows, Mac, and Linux players. Uploads encode to 720p H.264; NVIDIA GPUs use NVENC when ffmpeg is installed. Cinema and the hosted web app stay on Deimos.

Windows

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Unzip and run deimos-tv.exe. If SmartScreen blocks it: More info → Run anyway (the binary is unsigned).

macOS 12 Monterey or newer. Intel and Apple Silicon in one zip. If Gatekeeper blocks it: right-click → Open, or xattr -d com.apple.quarantine deimos-tv.

64-bit x86_64. Unzip, then chmod +x start.sh && ./start.sh. Same shop player as Windows and Mac — paste a Pro key under License.

After install

  1. Create the first account — that user manages the library on this copy.
  2. Buy Pro on the pricing page with PayPal.
  3. Paste the key under License in the app.
  4. Point Storage at your disk or your S3 keys. Deimos never stores the files.
  5. Uploads encode to 720p H.264. NVIDIA GPUs use NVENC if ffmpeg is on the PATH.
